NBIA’s Incubator Management Certificate program is a comprehensive and practical overview of the tasks and responsibilities of incubator management created for NBIA members. Developed with input from experienced industry professionals, the program provides a real-world view into the best practices of incubator management.
Since 2011, Varela Consulting has ben NBIA’s partner in teaching the certificate program internationally. Varela Consulting has co-taught the four day workshop series in Africa, the Middle East and Asia, as well as the US.
Varela Consulting also translated and adapted the program for the Latin American market, recruited and trained Spanish speaking instructors. The program has been taught in Spanish in Mexico several times as well as Puerto Rico.
Certificate program content includes incubator funding and client funding, mission and strategic planning, facilities management, selecting and serving clients, encouraging local and global entrepreneurial activity and more.
